The blue fig which contains the blue ocean’s pureness

We raise them with devotion from the ‘End of the lands Hae-Nam ’ which is a clean area full of clear air and pure water.

We are a young couple who farm blue figs at the foot of a mountain on the clean Hae-Nam’s Ha-One peninsula. Mu-Hwadam farms blue figs in a clean area which is called as ‘end of the lands Hae-Nam. It is sunny, windy, and have clear air with rich soil. The size of the farm is about 66,000㎡. Its farm is literally located between a forest and sea. Behind it there is a mountain which has clear water running down and in front comes the cool sea wind. The clean wind with plenty of sun helps make the sugar content inside the blue fig rise. As trees grow more healthier by the sound of their owners. To make them stronger and healthier we always say “I love you, Thank you, and I’m happy’ and turn on classics and traditional music etc to them. By being sincere, honest, and with strict management and sorting we will do our best to make the tastiest blue fig.

Blue figs ,compared to the general red figs, are smaller and when they get ripe they et a yellowish green or a yellow color. Mu-Hwadam raises its sweet blue fig eco-friendly. So, you can eat the peels and enjoy both taste and nutrition. By using no weed killers and chemical fertilizers we make our soils rich and by cutting of the leaves and using rice straws it helps deliver many nutritions to the tree’s roots which helps make Mu Hwadam’s blue fig sweeter and tastier. Because of its thin layer the blue fig is easy to get hurt and is exposed to damages made from insects. Due to these reasons it is difficult to manage and raise them without any agricultural pesticides. So, there aren’t many farms as well. However, our couple fell in love with the taste of the blue figs and started to cultivate them.

Mu Hwadam produces and sell blue fig jams, dried figs, juice, vinegar etc. in a sanitary HACCP facility. We go through water inspection a self quality inspection, over 320 sanitary inspections, and microbial tests on a annually or even a monthly basis and supervised from the KFDA. This process could be complicated but we consider that what goes through our customer’s mouth should be the same as what we would want our family to eat. So, we strictly follow this process when we produce our products. Also, with the studies and efforts of how to make a dried fig we use a drier that prevents nutrition loss and preserves the taste. Through this drying method we obtained a patent. We are a hygienic facility that got approval from the HACCP and from the 6th industry and also from the governer, which makes us very reliable and trustworthy.
